When the Facts Change, I Change My Mind. What Do You Do, Sir?
I could go on and on and write about my academic and work experience, but here are the most important points about me:
I have won four of the last seven seasons in my fantasy NBA 12-team league. My portfolio has a 27% return in the last twelve months. I drove through twenty-three states and more than eight thousand miles in sixty days.
I’m what you call “a numbers guy.” I enjoy analyzing data, identifying patterns, disruption of markets, and entrepreneurship. It’s common to find me trying to rationalize the irrational and going against the mainstream.
I’ve decided to write this blog because many people and especially millennials do not understand the markets or finance. They also do not understand the importance of being aware of what they do not understand.
I will use this stage to write about investments, risks, rewards, and other pertinent topics that come to mind. In this blog, I will be writing mostly about the American economy, as its capital markets are the most sophisticated in the world, and the statistical data is the most profound. We live in a tiny world, however, and the economy is truly global, so soon you will be able to read posts about other countries and regions. Please read, comment, and argue, but, most importantly, enjoy!
